MEET THE EVERYDAY SOMMELIER, KEN BRASWELL
I am Ken Braswell, your everyday sommelier!

After many years of being a wine fan, I formalized my interest by becoming a sommelier! And although I have no intention of becoming a Master, I do enjoy sharing my wine interests with friends. As your everyday sommelier, I prefer exploring wine in a relaxed and non-pretentious manner. Wine snobs bore me!
So, if you’d like to have friends over for an interesting couple of hours to learn more about wine, have blind tastings and perhaps food and cheese pairings, just call me…the Big Wine Oh!

You can choose from types of wine, specific grapes you’d like to explore or perhaps favorites from different regions of the world. Whatever your taste, the Big Wine Oh can deliver an interesting time to share and learn with blind tastings of wines of the world.

We can provide tastings for small intimate groups or large gatherings. You can choose to add cheeses and hors d'oeuvres or do them yourself. Our events are both fun and informative. You’ll learn about the deductive tasting method as well as some history of the wines you choose. Please let us know how we can make your wine-tasting gathering something that you will be proud to offer your friends.
